The city of Shiraz, as one of the major economic centers of Iran following the advent of Islam, consistently played a prominent role in coin production and the regional monetary system. This study investigates the coins minted in Shiraz and the active mints of this city across various post-Islamic periods. Employing a descriptive–analytical method and drawing on historical sources as well as numismatic specimens, the study analyzes the evolution of coin design, script, material composition, and engraved inscriptions. The findings indicate that the mints of Shiraz underwent notable changes in minting practices across different Islamic periods, influenced by prevailing political and economic developments. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that coins minted in Shiraz reflect the fiscal policies of successive governments, the degree of economic autonomy, and the cultural influences characteristic of each period. سکه‌ها و ضرابخانه‌ها از مهم‌ترین منابع تاریخی برای مطالعه تحولات اقتصادی، سیاسی و فرهنگی جوامع محسوب می‌شوند. شهر شیراز، به‌عنوان یکی از مراکز مهم اقتصادی ایران پس از ورود اسلام، همواره نقش برجسته‌ای در ضرب سکه و نظام پولی منطقه ایفا کرده است. این پژوهش به بررسی سکه‌های ضرب‌شده در شیراز و ضرابخانه‌های فعال این شهر در دوره‌های مختلف پس از اسلام می‌پردازد. با استفاده از روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و بررسی منابع تاریخی و نمونه‌های سکه‌شناسی، روند تغییرات در طراحی، خط، جنس و عبارات حک‌شده روی سکه‌ها مورد تحلیل قرار می‌گیرد. نتایج این مطالعه نشان می‌دهد که ضرابخانه‌های شیراز در دوره‌های مختلف اسلامی تحت تأثیر تحولات سیاسی و اقتصادی تغییراتی را در نحوه ضرب سکه تجربه کرده‌اند. همچنین، این پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که سکه‌های ضرب‌شده در شیراز بازتابی از سیاست‌های مالی حکومت‌های مختلف، میزان استقلال اقتصادی و تأثیرات فرهنگی آن دوره‌ها بوده‌اند.
